LG Phone Launch

April saw the Launch of LG's new mobile phone 'LG SECRET' to the press.
This new phone utilises carbon fibre in its construction, and is the newest member of LG's high end Black Label Series.
The chosen venue was the Landmark Hotel in Marylebone.
The Harewood room provided its own difficulties, with no rigging and very limited space and access.
Storm Lightings Technical Manager Mark Randall worked closely with the production company to provide a ground support rig that would fit into the room and not be too intrusive.

The critical part of the show was the actual 'reveal' on a revolve. The brief also included providing ambient lighting for the set around the room and the display areas.

Lighting equipment included MAC 300's, MAC 250 Entours, Chroma Q Colour Blocks, Thomas Pixel Lines and ETC Source 4's. Dimming was provided by Avolites ART2000 racks, with control by Avolites Pearl 2004. A Jem Glaciator X Stream also provided the dry ice effect for the reveal.

Mark was assisted by production electricians Pete Lambert and Mary Webb, with the desk programmed by Storm's Jamie Corbidge.
